This Privacy Policy explains how eSaaral (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use eSaaral.com and related services. We serve users in and around Sayalgudi, Tamil Nadu, India.
1. Information we collect
Account data: name, email (including Google sign-in), phone number, address, and role. Booking data: pickup, destination, date/time, travellers, special requests, coupons, and status history. Listing data: vehicle or shop details, photos, and documents you upload as an owner or directory partner. Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, approximate location if you allow it, and logs needed for security and diagnostics. Communications: support emails and in-app messages related to your requests.
2. How we use information
We use personal data to create and manage accounts; show search results and fares; create, assign, and track bookings; send OTP verification and trip status updates; operate local directories and property enquiries; process owner earnings tooling; prevent fraud and abuse; improve product quality; and comply with law.
3. Legal bases & consent
We process data to perform contracts (bookings), with your consent (e.g. OTP, optional location), for legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and where required by law. You can withdraw optional consents where the product allows, without affecting lawful processing already done.
4. Sharing
Assigned owners and drivers receive the contact and trip details needed to fulfil a booking. Directory listings show only the contact information intended to be public. Real-estate public views do not expose owner mobile until the lead/enquiry flow permits. We use infrastructure and messaging providers under contract. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect users’ safety.
5. Shared links
Booking or vehicle share links are designed to hide customer phone and email from casual viewers. Anyone with a link may still see trip or vehicle summary information — share carefully.
6. Cookies & similar tech
We use essential cookies or storage for login sessions, language preference, and basic site function. Analytics or marketing tools, if enabled later, will be described here and offered with appropriate choices.
7. Retention & security
We retain booking and account records as long as needed for operations, disputes, payouts, and legal retention. Access is role-restricted (visitor, owner, driver, admin/manager). Use strong account hygiene; never share OTPs. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards.
8. Your rights
You may view and update profile fields in My account. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, email support@esaaral.com from your registered email. We may keep limited records of completed trips or financial activity where required. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant Indian data protection / consumer authority.
9. Children
The Platform is intended for adults arranging travel and local services. If you believe a minor’s data was submitted without appropriate consent, contact us to remove it.
